Its 215am I am leaving to go to St. Bernard Parish in the Ninth Ward of New Orleans tomorrow at 130p. I am still not packed, I have about 4 blog entries that are not going to get done. And worst of all Im pretty sure I lost my digital camera. When I tired to make myself feel better by seeing how much the price has dropped because its over a year old… its still in the 200-300 range. Nothing like losing expensive stuff. My only hope is an honest student or custodian at Easter Michigan University that turned it in. At least I lost it because I was using it not letting some gadget gather dust.
So wish me luck on finding my camera. Maybe start my research with a post or 2, but it looks like I should wait at least a month with that camera convention coming up soon.
Also check out Emergency Communities. They are the organization I will be volunteering with when I am in New Orleans. I would say I will bring you pictures but you will have to wait for the disposable camera to get developed and for them to send me the photo CD. ![]()

Much sympathy… I’ve lost many things during the course of time, and almost when I needed them most. I believe in the cycle of things (some call it karma) and it will come back around, surely. Good luck with the trip!!!
