The cause of the disorder is not known but it is believed to be because of the hormones that are expected to release during puberty. The parts where acne is seen, releases excess oils. Bacteria due to dust and dirt when comes in contact with this area, becomes the cause of acne. Pimples may occur as hair follicles react with dead skin.

Any kind of allergy or irritation from prescribed medicines should be bought to doctor’s notice immediately. Women can use cosmetics and beauty products during treatment, but water based, oil free products are preferred.

People suffering from acne should keep acne prone areas clean and protect them from dust and bacteria. Acne can happen to anyone, just proper hygiene; right diet and doctor’s advice can prevent it from worsening.
